Tips for SciPy Attendees

New to SciPy? Welcome.

The absolute best thing about SciPy is meeting the other attendees and speakers. SciPy is a very friendly crowd and just about everyone loves talking about their work. Don’t be shy about introducing yourself to those around you.

Check out the Welcome to SciPy Breakfast for New Attendees-Wednesday, July 8th at 8:15 am in the Tejas Room. This is an informal way to meet other new attendees. We will have a few community members available to answer questions and give you some tips about the conference.

Grab an "Ask me about" icebreaker sticker available by the registration desk. Fill it in with any topic you choose. Passionate about pandas, excited about data visualization, love working with geodata -  this will immediately make you recognizable to those with similar interests.
